Games to get in October

If you happen to be a millionaire with a lot of time on your hands, then October is shaping up to be perfect for you. If you live video games, that is.

I really shouldn't complain about having an abundance of titles I'm genuinely interested in hitting the store shelf. I've also probably harped more than enough on how ridiculous it is to cram all of these games into the holiday window.

Suffice it to say yet another Christmas shopping season is upon us and, once again, some of the biggest games of the year are here to beg for your shopping dollars.

There are loads of (hopefully) great titles to pick from this month, spanning just about every genre imaginable, as well as every console.

Be sure to jump after the break to discover which games I believe will be most worth your time and attention in the next 30 days.

October
5th- Castlevania: Lords of Shadow (PS3, 360)
5th- NBA 2K11 (All)
5th- Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light (DS)
5th- Enslaved: Odyssey to the West (PS3, 360)
12th- Lucha Libra AAA Heroes of the Ring (All)
12th- The Shoot (PS3)
12th- Super Scribblenauts (DS)
12th- Medal of Honor (PS3, 360)
17th- Kirby's Epic Yarn (Wii)
18th- Fallout: New Vegas (PS3, 360)
19th- EA Sports MMA (PS3, 360)
19th- DJ Hero 2 (PS3, 360, Wii)
19th- Vanquish (PS3, 360)
19th- Time Crisis: Razing Storm (PS3)
26th- Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II (All)
26th- Fable III (360)

There are literally too many games here to discuss. I usually cherry pick a few top picks but, looking at that list, there's no way to narrow it down.

Save up that allowance. It's going to be an expensive month.
